A band, which style is described by “Dirty DisTorted spEaker kiLLing thRash beAts”, can be bad, I think. The No/Fi Riots are a german-dutch duo, founded only six months ago, but they already found a very distinct sound. You can hear the influences from artists like Noisa or Justice, but especially their sampling style distincts them very clearly, me thinks.

And it turns out, they are nice guys as well, because they send me an exclusive track of their upcoming Live set, called Style is why. And as I am a nice guy as well, I’ll share it with you. Enjoy:

It sitll sounds very rough, but thats normal for a live set recording. But I’m quite sure, that they will have an awesome sound live – so here’s the deal: If 5 people say “Yeah” in the comments, I’ll try to invite them to the upcoming 55 Years of Discolab Party!

Back to the track: The glitchy beats combine beautifully with some massive bass lines, and the break are very well done – the big break starting at 2:17 is a crowdpleaser, I swear. Beasty Boys vocal samplings as well, decent used, so it’s okay. All in all, a pretty awesome track, and I’m looking forward to hear more from this guys, they show great potential to be the next upcoming electrohouse act!

Oh, and there is another free download of their first release on their Bandcamp-page: http://nofi-riots.bandcamp.com
