1. I’m back on facebook! Sorry for the inconvenience, but facebook decided to be a dick about me using an artist name instead of my real one three weeks ago. 24 emails later, I got my account back, and to celebrate that, I got something special for you:

2. Do you know dinosaurs? The big walking killer machines that can eat a whole cow with a bite? I always thought they are cute, but now, this guy called Mochipet -> proved me wrong, because the sound of his productions can kill as well – if you are allergic to fat beats and deep basslines. What we have here, gentlewomen and -men, is an exclusive release on dancendancen.com, a courtesy by Mochipet himself. It’s a remix of his track Devo Whip it, done by Nitrous Oxide. And fuck, this is some great dubstep!

The first tracks that drew my attention to dubstep were tracks like “Will Bailey, Aniki – The Dutty Clem (Aniki’s Will Love the Bass Mix)” who used to throw some spice into their breaks by going dubstep, right in the middle of the track. And then comes this track, which does the exact opposite, a dubstep track with techno break mixed in – in your face, boring music!

Nitrous Oxide uses the first 30 seconds to introduce the melody and the vocal samples, just to bitchslap you with the massive bassline at 0:38. He plays masterfully with all the various track elements, completely surprises you with the for-mentioned technobreaks and essentially makes this track a roller coaster ride between styles. And am I the only one who hears a Nirvana guitar sample at the end? I love it, and you will love it too.

These two have a great future ahead, my crystal ball (aka taste) tells me. Please support these artists and visit their pages for more stuff:
