Freddy Todd – Space 5 Penthouse (NiT GriT Remix)

Wow, I never thought I’ll blog about a dubstep track, but this one is a burner. Freddy Todds track Space 5 Penthouse got mashed through NiT GriTs grinder, and the result is a heavy varied burner:

NiT GriT selfdescription is “I’m just a guy who likes to make music”. I would say, theres a “awesome” missing right in front of “music”. After a solid intro he drops a massive bass bomb accompanied by some of the sickest melodie lines – if you can still call them that – I heard in the last time. The track changes between wild wobbly passages and calmer, more melodic parts, and very well done breaks. If your crowd doesn’t start to dance at 2:18, you need either a new crowd or a bigger pa!
If more dubstep would have this quality, I would consider becoming a dupstep DJ. But NiT GriT certainly showed me great promise for this genre.
