Circuit otherwise known as Andrew Reid was wired up and brought to life in 2009 as part of an rhythmic experiment. Built with the sole purpose of becoming one of electronic music’s renowned house names. With releases and support from electronic specialist ‘BiZ Music’, feature’s in top music mag ‘FutureMusic’, Circuit is well on his way to achieving this programed target.
Andrew was born in 1991 in Wellington New Zealand, who grew up surrounded by musical influence within his household. This kicked off his passion for music and led to his decision to study musical theory and learn instruments such as the piano and guitar. At 17 years old Andrew became heavily influenced by electronic music and decided to create Circuit, the fusion between man and machine that coincides with the perfect marriage of music and technology.
With musical influences from Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Tiga, Caspa and Rusko, Circuit has created a unique “weighty slap in the face” of a production style. Prominently catering for the Electro subgenre, Circuit has also dabbled with dubstep and fuses this production style within his music with unique bass driven halftime breakdowns.
Circuit’s glitchy debut release ‘Monies & I Want Drop’ is due for release on the 21th July on ‘BiZ Music’ which will be available from all top digital retailers such as Beatport and iTunes.
