Radiokillaz – We flexin
Sep 2nd
I’m following Radiokillaz since a couple of months, and their output is astonishing. Some say that this two guys are rising to be and stay at top of the British music scene – that’s the pr talking, but time will prove it anyway. For now, I know for sure that they are willing to put their whole energy into their music – they even host a weekly radio show on Point Blank 90.2FM London /103.6FM Surrey at 22:00 o’clock (GMT) (tune in online!).
That’s enough for now, I’m sure we will come back soon to talk some more about this guys. Now, listen!

Their latest free release (and they do a lot of them) is a strange dubstep track mixed with d&b elements and: Chinese fluts and vocal effects. After this first culture clash, a little dub-break kicks straight ahead in the main melody. They have used a variety of basslines, and sure put a lot of effort into the arrangement. I especially like the break starting at 1:48: It starts lightweight and then uses a stronge reverbe to suck you in. And when your brain is comfortably swimming in the bass lines, the main theme comes crashing in again.
Check out their page for many more great tracks, and be sure not forget their name! Salute, Radiokillaz, you made my day another time.

Does it offend you, yeah? – We Are The Dead (Drivepilot Remix)
Aug 31st
First things first: I’m not dead, thanks for asking, Maxoo.
Second: I’m deeply sorry, the last weeks turned out to be an unexpected summerbreak for dancendancen.com due to personal reasons. But, I didn’t delete any emails and now there sure is a huge stack of music to go through for you.
So here’s the deal: During the next days I’ll post shorter reviews, but more of the them, to make it up for you, okay?
Summary: Dancendancen.com is back!
So, we will restart with a very fresh remix, about 24 hours old: Canadian artist Drivepilot remixed Does it offen you, yeah? and the result is an astonishing hardcore nu-rave electro-house bomb. If they would have sent me the track as whitelable I would have guessed it’s from the likes of the Bloody Beetroots or Sawgood.Listen for yourself:

This track has everything you could wish for: A great and long, yet interesting build up, soft vocals – a nice contrast to the mean mine bassline – and quite the right amount of ideas to make it stand out from the rest. Three thumbs up, Drivepilot, keep up the good work!

Sick Boy – Boom!
Jul 6th
Kiez Beats records recently released the second EP from the Amsterdamian artist Sick Boy called “BOOM!”. It is loud, ravey and rocks any dancefloor, that is at least what the label says
On the remix front Sick Boy has been working like crazy contributing to lots of acts like Dirty disco youth’s “Stupid Sound” (kinetika records), DRLCT Freddie’s “Boys and girls” (DANR Records), Homework’s “Student tits” (Blacklabel records) and Stereoheroes “Washout” (Crux records). He also just finished his work on Jamie Fanatic & Jesse Voorn’s “El musicae” which will be released on Jaimie Fanatics new label and the Waxdolls just asked him for a remix for their soon to be next single “15 minutes”!
Sick boy has shared the stage with the biggest names in the world like Justice,Steve Aoki, Mstrkrft, Princess superstar, goose, Guns n bombs and the list goes on. And to make you smile today, he gives away the original version of Boom! as a promotion for free!
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
This track will rock a crowd like no other, mixing old school piano breakdowns with Rave synths that will hype up a crowd and make them jump as high as possible. Included on the EP are some jawdropping remixes. Belgium ravers Shaved Monkeys are fairly new to the scene (we already covered them, of course), but listening to their remix makes you think they’ve been at it for years, loud beats and heavy basslines will defanetly get the party started. The other remixes got done by Doc Trashz, Lex Chauve & Teddy Crawfurd, Eric Sharp, Kick-Oh and Steenbergen.
Pre-listen and buy the complete EP at beatport! And don’t miss the shaved monkeys remix, it sure rocks some ass!

Exclusive: Znippy Kid – Glitchy Dope
Jul 3rd
I’m back from my holiday, hooray! I’ve been visiting the probably best festival in Europe, the fusion to see some of the finest German artists perform, and I can tell you: Minimal is still huge there, but after a couple of hours time to adapt I got into it again. And with fifteen stages, there is always something new to discover, my personal highlights were Wevie Stonder, Bong Ra and Duran Duran Duran. Now my batteries are recharged, and we can resume our trip through the wonderful world of music.
Many artists use the word kid in their artist name, but seldom they really are underaged. However, Znippy Kid, or Philip B. choose a quite fitting name, as he is a 15 years old producer from Hanover, Germany, who started to play around with DJ Software when he was 12 years old. One year later, he began to produce dirty house, fidget and electro house tracks as his favourite genres.
His first track got released on Plasma.Digital just last week, a remix for Bymont Bros. and Feral, which you can listen to and buy on beatport. Now he sent me the track Glitchy Dope for an exclusive dancendancen.com release:

Znippy Kids first blog release is a solid electro house track. The bassline is already punchy enough to make your feet stomp, the melody is still a little ricket, but fulfills its job well enough. Especially in the breaks you can hear the talent this young guy has, he surely took his time to learn from the generation before him.
I’m amazed of this promising young fellow, and I’m sure it’s not the last time you will hear from Znippy Kid. Thumbs up!

Objet A – Nochnbisschentanzen
Jun 23rd
This will be my last post for a week, because today my vacation starts. And by vacation I mean dancing at the fusion festival – oh joy! In the meantime, please visit Disco Demons blog about wonderful music for your daily beat injection.
I thought about putting a dj tape as a last post online anyway, so Objet As new mix came in quite handy. She is a Viennese djane, and (should I say of course?) part of the widespread female:pressure network. She started to work as a dj not too long ago, and once I asked her why she choose this path. She answered, it ‘s for the joy of dancing and her personal ego-manic happiness which she wants to share. Furthermore, she wanted to help creating structures, where people can listen to the newest stuff in an inexpensive environment. And as it was hard to find djs willing to participate, she started to do it on her own. This structure is know as the Viennese Discolab event series, by the way, which she is organizing together with DJ Krankypanky from the backlab collective.

The mix lives in the hard and deep techhouse genre, and is a quite good example for her technical skills and her music taste.
Objet A is one of my favorite Austrian djanes, and I hope you will like her mix as much as I do.
Wish you a good week, we see each other at the 30th of June again.

Ikki – Bakala Banger (Deadbots remix)
Jun 19th
It’s amazing to see the output the label Kiez Beats had in the last weeks: First the grandios SuperCommodore, then the fantastic Dare2Disco and now they sent me two more brilliant tracks. The one I will share with you today is a track from Ikki, the “Godfather of Madrid” in a Deadbots remix. IKKI released on Steve Aoki`s Label DIM MAK and remixed Mustard Pimp, Gigi Barocco and many more! He produces pure Hardcore Trash Metal Electro Sound with roots on the dark side of music. His massive Tune “Bakala Banger” is playlisted & supported by Designer Drugs, Mustard Pimp & Cyberpunkers and for this bouncing EP he teamed up with Dublin famous DJ Duo Deadbots, who released on Strictly Rhythm, Bang Gang 12Inches and French FCKN Crew, who got much notice in the Club Scene with the “Carnage” EP.
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
Download Ikki – Bakala Banger (Deadbots remix)
Where do I start? I got stuck on repeat with this track, and it’s hard to spotlight a specific brilliant part in this track, because it’s such a great productions in every aspect. It starts with a highpitched, but unharmeful, swooshing sound, has a great reduced set of drums and a wobbly bassline. From the beginning it captures your head and legs as hostages, and forces them to whip in joy. You can’t resist to turn up your stereo system to the max. This track has pressure, it has sex appeal, it has everything that will make your audience happy, regardless of the time you play it. Incredible!
Deadbots and Ikki are a great team and great artists, please support them and buy the release. The EP got released on Beatport yesterday, and will find its way into all other major webshops on the 02nd of July, you can listen to the whole release on Soundcloud as well.
